Description
RELEASE DATE: JUNE 29, 2026
DURATION: 120 MINUTES
Designed for supervisors and managers, this course helps leadership recognize, prevent, and respond to harassment and other inappropriate conduct, before it escalates. Geared to credit union workplaces and real management decisions, the session focuses on what managers must do (and avoid doing) when concerns are raised, and how to build a respectful, inclusive culture across teams.
Delivered in no less than two hours to help meet supervisory training requirements, this course is anchored in California standards while remaining highly relevant for managers overseeing teams and members across multiple jurisdictions (including UT, MD, NJ, PA, NV, and DC). You’ll leave with clear, practical guidance on:
- What legally and policy-defined harassment looks like (including conduct that may seem “minor” but creates risk)
- Manager duties: how to receive concerns, document appropriately, and escalate promptly, even without a formal complaint
- How to respond in the moment: de-escalation, bystander/leadership intervention, and setting expectations for professional behavior
- Confidentiality and anti-retaliation: what you can promise, what you must report, and how to prevent “soft retaliation”
- Creating a culture of respect and inclusion through consistent coaching, accountability, and fair application of policies
- Special considerations for hybrid/remote work: chats, email, video meetings, and after-hours conduct
Our sexual harassment prevention and abusive conduct awareness training meets federal and state compliance requirements to assist your credit union in meeting the following citations:
- CA Executive Order n-16-22
- NV Cultural Competency for Community Based Organizations
- CA SB 553 – Occupational Safety
- California Government Code §12950.1
- Nevada Mandatory Training Requirements
- NAC 284.496

Although we have evolved over the past two decades into something much more complex and diverse, one thing remains the same: our core reason for existence. We are here to help the people “who help the people,” as the old credit union saying goes – to help credit unions help their members.
